Tea Ceremony House

Here you can experience the beauty and mystery of the Japanese Tea Ceremony. The building itself, a 300 year old farm house, also has to be seen to be believed! Visitors in winter can expect to see snow.

江戸中期に建てられた茅葺き民家。
座敷に上がって正面にある囲炉裏。
室内には、手水（ちょうず）が造られ、水音が聞こえる心和む空間をつくっています。
茶器のある空間。茶釜は実際に使用します。
囲炉裏の熱を利用して養蚕などが行われていたと推察される天（あま）。
江戸末期のものと思われる武者人形。リアルな陣羽織やふくよかな表情が魅力です。
