全国一の木地生産高を誇る山中漆器
山中漆器のろくろ挽きの技法は独特のもので優美さが特徴。400年の歴史のある山中漆器を中心に販売しております。
最新の商品としては樹脂製商品の中でも電子レンジ・食器乾燥機対応可能な、お椀・お皿・お弁当箱類も開発され身近な食器として、お求めいただけるようになり、日常に気軽に使えて、お手頃価格でお買い上げいただける商品も多数販売致しております。
館内では、人間国宝川北良造氏をはじめとする伝統工芸師による名工作品も数多く展示販売致しております。
古き良き伝統にふれる体験、山中塗独特の塗料（カシュー）を使った蒔絵体験が出来ます。
